I bought Duff's fondant to try out and its great except when I'm making a 3D bow. It doesn't harden so I will not be using this fondant for bows.
3 layer 9" round cakes (basic yogurt white cake) with buttercream icing.

Our friends have boy/girl twins turning 1!! I got the privledge of doing their smash cakes and big birthday cake!! This was a lot of fun to make!

My little ladies turned 4 this year and had a ladybug themed birthday party! Ladybug is cake covered in fondant. The face is made of fondant. The cake is covered in BC with fondant accents. The 4's are all gumpaste.

I made cupcakes for the actual birthday. Cute with a little ladybug on top!

My friend's son turned one this week and there was definitely a celebration! You know if there is a celebration, there has to be CAKE! No theme, just primary colors. Such a fun cake to make with gumballs made out of fondant to surround the edge and hang off wires. A smash cake to match for the little guy!

This cake and cupcakes were for Melissa's little boy's birthday. She is the photographer that takes all the great pictures of the girls. She took pictures of the cake and cupcakes so of course I wanted to post the professional photos. Sugar crystal ring around the cupcakes with a fondant star on top. The smash cake is covered in fondant with fondant stars all over. Super cute colors!!

Mr. Amare had his first birthday and I was lucky enough to do the cake and his smash cake. Safari Jungle themed party and the cake topped it off. I fricken love this cake. This is the first time I've made animals. My sister helped me and made the monkey so animals are not to scale. ha!

Rachelle was inducted into Tarleton State's Hall of Fame for women's basketball. She was my coach when I was a freshman. Her family had a huge party for her and I made the cake. It's the most cake I've ever baked and decorated. It was HUGE and had to feed 125 people. This is one of my favorite cakes I've done.
