2 little monkeys turning 1

Our friends have boy/girl twins turning 1!! I got the privledge of doing their smash cakes and big birthday cake!! This was a lot of fun to make!
smash cakes - white cake with buttercream icing; fondant monkeys
big cake - darn good chocolate with chocolate buttercream icing; fondant accents

so much fun at ONE!

My friend's son turned one this week and there was definitely a celebration! You know if there is a celebration, there has to be CAKE! No theme, just primary colors. Such a fun cake to make with gumballs made out of fondant to surround the edge and hang off wires. A smash cake to match for the little guy!
